ANTS @ Ban Fossil Fuel Advertising Conference 2026 (Lyon, France, 2-3 May 2026)

ANTS has been confirmed for this assignment in the Conference Ban Fossil Fuel Advertising 2026, to be held in Lyon (FR), 2-3 May 2026.

Previous editions including Amsterdam 2023 and Barcelona 2025 were held in English only, while for Brussels 2024 edition, ANTS has provided the infrastructure for simultaneous interpretation in English and French and sound for the plenary and workshop rooms, in two different venues.

For this year conference, ANTS will be providing interpreters and technology needed to held this event simultaneously in two languages, French and English, with a similar set-up as Brussels 2024, a plenary and a workshop room with sound systems.

I’m axel, ANTS Project Manager.

I have been working in Simultaneous Interpretation for Social Movements field since 2009, when I co-founded with other 3 people the pioneer project COATI (based in Barcelona, Cataluña, Spain).

Putting together 14 years of experience participating in different social movements events, ANTS project (AlterNative Technology Systems) started around summer 2023, when I moved back to my birth city Turin, North-West of Italy. I officially registered ANTS in Italy at around march 2024.

Despite more than a decade working in the field, the ANTS project is relatively young, so as you can understand the website is still under construction. I will fill it with information and posts about the events we participate and the work we do in the time to come !
